Oyindamola Williams is a Licensed Master Social Worker committed to advancing holistic and inclusive mental health care. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on Direct Clinical Practice from Sacred Heart University and is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers. Oyindamola is also a member of the Phi Xi Honor Society for Social Work, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and the Africa Social Work and Development Network.
With extensive experience spanning special education settings, residential programs, and outpatient care, Oyindamola has worked with diverse populations, providing trauma-informed care, group therapy, and recovery counseling. Her work focuses on addressing the unique mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults while advocating for equitable access to services in underserved communities.
Oyindamola’s contributions extend beyond direct practice to research and resource development. Oyindamola has created sensitization resources like Recognizing & Addressing Racial Microaggressions, designed to support international students in navigating cultural and emotional challenges. Her research includes studies on the impact of domestic violence on academic performance, stress and coping strategies among international students, and resilience among older refugees during the COVID-19 pandemic.
