Elizabeth Hill is a doctoral student at Monmouth University's Doctor of Social Work in Human Rights Leadership. Her research focuses on advancing global human rights for deaf and hard of hearing communities with an emphasis on integrating disability justice and intersectional feminist frameworks into social work education. She is working to advance global curricula that equip social workers with the knowledge and tools to be effective allies and partners in addressing systemic barriers affecting deaf and hard of hearing communities.
Ms. Hill has over 25 years of experience dedicated to expanding access for deaf and hard of hearing communities, with a particular focus on children and families. With a career distinguished by leadership in policy development and innovative program creation, she is committed to advocating for education and policies that enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities.
A Pennsylvania native, Ms. Hill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Government and a Master of Social Work degree from Gallaudet University in Washington, DC.
