Dr. Diane Mitschke is a professor at the University of Texas at Arlington School of Social Work, where she has served on faculty since 2006. She has held several administrative appointments during her tenure, including serving as Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs from 2020-2024, and as MSW Program Director from 2015-2020, and, as a result, has been a part of many leadership transitions within the School and the University. When she is not contemplating leadership, Diane conducts participatory action research with resettled refugees and forcibly displaced populations with a focus on enhancing health and well-being in communities.
