Pratiksha Dangle is a doctoral student in Social Work at Arizona State University, currently in her third year. She holds a Master of Arts in Social Work with a specialization in Disability Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Her research focuses on peer relationship and the attitudes of non-disabled graduate students toward their peers with Disabilities and social inclusion. Her work critically examines how cultural, policy, and educational differences influence the social acceptance of neurodiverse students in higher education. Through a quantitative research approach Pratiksha investigates the impact of prior social contact, attitudes, and challenges faced by non-disabled graduate students in fostering inclusive academic spaces. She is particularly interested in cross-cultural comparisons of disability inclusion and how these insights can inform social work practice and policy. Pratiksha’s research aims to inform social work practice and educational policies by highlighting the significance of social contact in shaping inclusive attitudes.
