Mia Ocean, Ph.D. (she/her) is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at Wichita State University. She conducts critical participatory action research policy evaluations to advocate for community-owned and informed change. Dr. Ocean is also a community college and Pell grant alum who lives with a plethora of disabilities and dogs.
