Cameile Henry serves as the Early Childhood Education Coordinator (ECE), and a Professor of ECE at the Sheridan Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning in Brampton, Ontario Canada, where she has served for over 15 years. Prior to her joining the ECE program team at Sheridan, she was an ECE for 10 years and Professor at George Brown College. She is a certified facilitator for Circle of Security, an international program that supports parents and primary care providers with the tools to enhance building strong attachments with their children in their care. She is also an educational consultant and writer for the children's animation series 'Jeremy and Jazzy' and 'Bee With Zee'. In addition to her work in early childhood education, Cameile is the co-editor of the brand new social work textbook "Race Relations in the 21st Century" (Cognella). This book is a vital resource designed to aid social workers in implementing the new ADEI component on race in the 2022 CSWE EPAS. She is also the co-founder of Strengthen Hands, an educational resource consulting firm dedicated to empowering the lives of children around the globe. She is an inspirational and prolific children’s book writer and has co-authored numerous interactive children’s books designed to help children deal with diverse challenges that they will encounter as a part of their daily lives. An inspirational speaker, Cameile has changed the trajectory of children’s lives through her inspiring children’s programs, workshops, and consulting services.
