Shannon Johnson, PhD, LCSW, MPP

Shannon Johnson is an Associate Professor of social work at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She is the Chair of the Social Work Department with the College of Public Service at UCCS. Her research focuses on issues of trauma, meaning-making, moral injury, and complicated grief. Shannon is also a passionate educator and enjoys teaching across the social work curriculum. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and sees several clients in a private practice context.
