Domonique Henderson is a Doctoral Candidate in UCLA’s Ph.D. Social Welfare Program. Her research focuses on gendered racism and its mental health implications on Black women and girls. She employs qualitative research methodologies such as grounded theory, thematic analysis, YPAR/BGYPAR, and photovoice. In addition, she has experience with quantitative methods such as exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, validation research, and measurement development. Currently, she is a Teaching Associate at UCLA teaching undergraduate and MSW level students with courses focused on DSM5 and clinical training, social environments and human development, social movements, qualitative methods, applied statistics, capston projects, and applied research development. Furthermore, she has an ASW with an interest in becoming an LCSW.
