Allison Berkowitz is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of North Alabama, an Influencing Social Policy board member, and an active legislative advocate for issues of social and economic justice. Her teaching and research interests focus on making politics more accessible for, and addressing unmet self-care needs in, social workers and social work students.
