Dr. Wei’s training primarily focused on Medical Social Work. She has worked as a medical social worker with diverse populations, addressing a variety of social issues, including homelessness, domestic violence, aging adults, chronic health conditions, and financial challenges. She also served as a school social worker, assisting youth and college students with mental health issues and career development. Dr. Wei has several peer-reviewed publications and presentations in the areas of women’s reproductive health, youth substance use prevention, social isolation among older adults, and critical thinking.
