Lucinda Adjesiwor, is a researcher committed to advancing health equity and child well-being. She completed her Ph.D. in Social Work at the University of Southern California. Her research focuses on childhood adversity, child maltreatment, family stress, and behavioral health. Using a family systems and resilience lens, she explores both the challenges and strengths experienced by vulnerable families. Her work informs families, child welfare professionals, early childhood educators, and policymakers, shaping interventions that foster stability and support. With expertise in quantitative and mixed methods, implementation science, and community-engaged research, she has published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Marriage and Family, Children and Youth Services Review, Journal of Affective Disorders, and Journal of Research on Adolescence.
