Professional/Research Interests
Enoch Azasu's research focuses on psychiatric epidemiology and mental health, with a particular emphasis on understanding and addressing suicidality. His work is dedicated to developing and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve mental well-being, enhance suicide prevention efforts, reduce stigma, and support at-risk populations. Recently, Azasu has incorporated advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques to predict suicide risk and guide interventions, especially among adolescents in resource-limited settings like Ghana.
