Dr. Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman Khan is an Assistant Professor of Social Work and a Faculty Senate Member at Stephen F. Austin State University, The University of Texas System, USA. With over 15 years of experience as a researcher and development practitioner, he has worked with government, non-government, and intergovernmental organizations, including the a2i Program of the Government of Bangladesh, UNDP, the United Nations Headquarters, BRAC International, and the Population Council.
Dr. Khan's research focuses on adolescent and youth development, international social work, the grand challenges for social work, South-South good practices, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He holds a Ph.D. in Social Work from Indiana University, an M.A. in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University, and both a Master of Population Sciences and a Master of Social Welfare (CSWE-accredited) from the University of Dhaka.
