Dr. Patricia (Trish) Desrosiers, PhD, LCSW is a distinguished educator, researcher, and leader in the field of social work. She previously served as Department Chair of Social Work at Western Kentucky University, where she was a faculty member from 2009 - 2025. With expertise in victim services, clinical social work supervision, child welfare, nonprofit leadership, and interprofessional education, Dr. Desrosiers has secured numerous grants and contracts supporting social work education and practice. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, addressing critical issues in social work practice and education.
Dr. Desrosiers has been recognized for her leadership and service, including her appointment to the Council on Social Work Education’s Commission on Educational Policy. She is also actively engaged in professional organizations and community initiatives, contributing her expertise to advancing social work education, policy, and practice.
