This study examines how perceived parent-child closeness mediates the relationship between paternal mental health and warmth among racial and ethnic minority fathers. Using structural equation modeling (SEM) with a sample of 325 fathers, findings highlight the importance of paternal well-being in fostering positive parent-child relationships and promoting supportive parenting behaviors.
