People with intellectual disabilities (ID) experience health disparities, which disproportionately impact the quality of their lives. Providers, including social workers, report feeling ill-prepared to provide equitable and inclusive care to people with ID and their families. An interprofessional, community-engaged educational intervention to address these gaps is described and evaluated.
