Latin America has increased incarceration to address law-breaking behaviors, threatening human rights and rehabilitation prospects. From a-person-in-environment framework, we partnered with the Chilean prison service and conducted a mixed-methods, interdisciplinary, national study to identify areas for prison reform. Our findings offer evidence to implement effective social services for this population.
