This interactive workshop will share one university’s strategies to promote Anti-Racist, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) learning and skill development in practicum courses. Participants will be provided curriculum examples, including a module for advanced generalist learning, and will engage in activities for developing plans to be applied within their program.

At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:

Upon completion, participants will have developed a plan to promote Anti-Racist, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) learning and skill development in their practicum courses.
Participants will collectively identify pathways to create and implement practicum-based learning activities that integrate ADEI principles and disability justice.
Upon completion, participants will have examples of research design, incorporating student data, needed to inform effective teaching strategies in practicum, specifically related to ADEI.
