Community-based participatory research enhances community engagement and research by focusing on the knowledge and expertise of community members (NIH, 2024). This survivor-led study examined the lived experiences of disabled BIPOC trafficked women. It underscores the significance of first-person perspectives in providing inclusive insights that contribute to disability justice.

Upon completion, the participant will be able to center CBPR with disabled BIPOC trafficked women as partners.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to understand the intersection between race/ethnicity, ACEs, disability, and human trafficking.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to understand the perceptions and experiences of racism and discrimination (including ableism) among disabled BIPOC trafficked women.
