This qualitative phenomenological study examines the disproportionate impact of natural disasters on marginalized communities, including individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Insights from 45 participants in Portland, Oregon, reveal systemic barriers, mobility privilege, and recovery disparities, underscoring the need for inclusive, community-driven disaster preparedness and equitable resource distribution.
