Social work students have been placed in public libraries for over a decade, providing low-barrier services to community members by meeting people where they are. This presentation will showcase innovative ways social work student interns can engage with the community to lower barriers to services in a variety of settings.

Upon completion, the participant will be able to identify micro, mezzo, and macro practice opportunities within library social work internships.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to develop strategies to incorporate low-barrier opportunities for their students in practicum placements.
