Women are the fastest growing population in the U.S. military and are almost five times more likely than men to be sexually assaulted during their military tenure. This paper explores the impact of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) on mental and educational attainment for women veterans.

Upon completion, participants will gain an understanding of how military sexual trauma impacts women veterans mental health and educational goals.
Upon completion, participants will acquire knowledge of the obstacles and challenges that women veterans experience in institutions of higher education and what they've found to be supportive in their pursuit of educational attainment.
Upon completion, participants will be able to identify at least 3 targeted services or resources that can be utilized to enhance the psychosocial and educational well-being of women veterans.
