We present findings from a statewide assessment of housing resources and gaps. Service providers (n=87) and people with lived experience of homelessness (75) participated in surveys and focus groups to illustrate the unique needs of unhoused people in rural and small towns.

At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:
1) Participants will understand the scope of homelessness and housing instability in rural and small towns.
2) Participants will identify unique patterns of housing needs, barriers, service gaps and resources in rural areas, particularly for individuals with disabilities.
3) Participants will articulate the impact of community perception on access to housing and supporting services for individuals experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
