Aligning with the Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) principle, this integrative review explores how social work students understand disability justice and the integral intersectionality dynamics. It highlights how mindfulness-based approaches to education promote critical self-awareness, which in effect enhances curricular and institutional socialization that emphasizes disability justice and equity.

Upon attending this presentation, social work educators will understand the necessity to go beyond legal compliance and incorporate intersectional disability into social work education comprehensively to promote disability justice.
Upon completion, social work educators will understand the critical role of mindfulness-based pedagogical practices in cultivating critical self-awareness among social work students.
Upon completion, social work educators will be able to understand the importance of mindfulness integration with the CSWE's ADEI framework and its impact on social work students’ socialization and learning experience.
