This poster examines the integration of Disability Justice principles into the LifeSkills Training (LST) program, an evidence-based intervention for youth in low-income communities facing social, emotional, and cognitive challenges, including undiagnosed learning disabilities. It highlights both successes and challenges in promoting personal and social skill development.

Upon completion, participants will be able to analyze the impact of integrating Disability Justice principles into the LifeSkills Training (LST) program, focusing on accessibility, engagement, and learning outcomes for youth with diverse learning needs.
Upon completion, participants will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) adaptations, including multisensory teaching tools, differentiated instruction, and executive functioning strategies, in supporting youth with learning disabilities.
Upon completion, participants will be able to identify key implementation challenges, such as facilitator training, funding limitations, and curriculum flexibility, and propose strategies to enhance the sustainability of disability-inclusive interventions in community-based settings.
