This paper explores how the Michigan Collaborative Addiction Resources & Education System (MI CARES) modules can be integrated into social work curricula to enhance student knowledge and skills in addressing Addiction. Educators can equip future social workers with the tools to effectively engage in recovery-oriented practice with clients facing addiction.
