This study examines COVID-19 knowledge accuracy and trust in that knowledge among Afghan, Sudanese, and Syrian resettled refugees during the COVID-19 pandemic. A comparative approach was used to understand differences between refugee subgroups.

Participants will be able to gain an understanding of the factors that influence knowledge accuracy and trust in COVID-19 information among resettled refugees.
Participants will be able to recognize the importance of designing and implementing “credible” health communication interventions by comparing the differences in knowledge accuracy and trust levels among resettled refugees.
Participants will be able to learn the importance of designing targeted interventions that address the needs of specific subgroups while ensuring consideration of cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic factors.
