The study documents the health disparity between older immigrants and native older adults in Europe using SHARE data and explores the association between welfare precarity and older immigrants’ well-being by examining older immigrants’ eligibility for welfare benefits (primarily disability benefits and elderly care services) in three European countries.

• develop analytical thinking about the welfare loopholes in different welfare systems for older immigrants.
