This session presents a multidimensional framework and assessment tool for conceptualizing and treating young children, with suicidal thoughts and behaviors (STB). The framework informed the development of an assessment tool, which will be presented and applied to a case study to make direct links between the framework and practice.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:
Examine suicidal thoughts and behaviors among young children via a multidimensional conceptual framework.
Consider the clinical value and relevance of a multidimensional conceptual framework grounded tool for assessing suicidal thoughts and behaviors among young children.
Practice applying the multidimensional conceptual framework assessment tool to a case study.
