This ePoster explores how an independent learning course can reduce isolation, fear, and imposter syndrome in students struggling with statistics and quantitative research methods. It highlights how a Black student found pride in learning statistics through culturally competent, student-centered pedagogy, demonstrating its impact on academic performance and personal growth.
