This study examines the significance of social work values that social work researchers bring to interdisciplinary dementia research, particularly in the recruitment process. Major contributions of social work researchers include ensuring accessible communication, addressing ethical considerations, advocating for participants, providing an inclusive research environment, and considering family caregivers.
