Social work education must integrate anti-oppressive and disability justice frameworks to advance equity. Our BSW program developed a library guide for students and faculty to support critical analysis and advocacy, providing curated resources on intersectionality and systemic barriers. This poster presents its development, structure, and impact on social work curricula.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:
Describe how the 20 dimensions of diversity, as defined by CSWE, influence social work education and practice.
Apply an intersectional lens to analyze how disability justice and anti-oppressive frameworks shape social work pedagogy.
Evaluate how a curated library guide can serve as a teaching tool to foster inclusive, accessible, and equity-driven learning environments.
