CSOGIE promotes the development of social work curriculum materials and programmatic opportunities to members who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, sexual-expansive, gender-expansive, two-spirit, and all others under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella. The purpose of this meeting is to provide update to membership about the work of CSOGIE.

At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:
Define the charge of the Council on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression.
Describe the current projects of the council related to the charge of the council.
Assess opportunities to improving the climate of programs of social work for LGBTQ+ individuals.
