This study utilized a syndemic approach to understanding the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) of Malawian women in Blesser relationships, which are characterized by transactional dynamics between older, wealthier men (Blessers) and younger women. Results highlight a complex interplay between economic vulnerability, gender inequality and SRH risks.
