This panel shares insights from a peer-facilitated mental wellness program with refugee youth. Panelists elucidate how they are fostering a culture of connection and understanding. Panelists describe an iterative approach to mental health from a culturally-expansive perspective and inspiration for participants' career pathways into mental health and social services.

Participants who join this panel will be able to identify the elements of this model for intergenerational healing with refugee and immigrant community members.
Participants who attend this panel will be able to draw connections between indigenous and diasporic wellness, and a sense of belonging for refugees and immigrants in the Rocky Mountain West region.
Upon completion of this panel participants will have a deeper understanding of the relationship between culturally responsive mental health supports and community-led interventions.
