Effective, relevant social work education—including championing disability justice and disability joy—that prepares competent practitioners is complex, crucial, and demanding. CSWE EPAS (2022) declared, “self-care is paramount.” Thus, curricula must teach self-care as essential, integrated practice. This presentation contributes to moving from statements to strategies in this paramount commitment.
